Bravely automatically sends email notifications to clients to keep them informed about appointments, resources, and billing, so you don’t have to.

📌 Note: You’ll see placeholder details in italics in the email previews below that will be replaced with real names, dates, or details when sent.


Invitations

Invitation to Join Bravely

Sent when a client is first added to Bravely with the Invite to Bravely toggle enabled, or when a client's Client Status is switched to Connect.

Forms & Assignments

New Form

When you assign a new form to a client — such as an intake questionnaire, consent form, or feedback survey — they’ll automatically receive an email letting them know it’s ready to complete.

When you assign new instructions or resources after a session, clients are notified automatically.

Appointments

Invitation to Book a Session

Sent when you use the “Invite to book” option. Includes a direct booking link for the client.

Appointment Booked (Single)

When you book a session for a client, they receive:

  1. A Bravely email with appointment details

  2. A calendar invite (you’re both listed as attendees)

Dr Jane has added a 60 minute appointment with you on 2nd June 2025.

Appointment Booked (Recurring)

Similar to the single-session email, but includes:

  • A list of all recurring dates (under the datetimes placeholder)

  • A calendar invite covering all sessions

Declined Appointment Request

If a client requests a session time (via Bravely Home) and you’ve enabled “Requires Confirmation”, the appointment will show as Unconfirmed until you respond.

If you decline the request, the client receives a notification.

Sorry for the hiccup, but the appointment you requested for 2nd June 2025, 5pm with Dr Jane isn't available. Here's what they've noted:

" Unfortunately I'm on a short business trip during that time. However, I will be back from 4th June 2025. Please feel free to book an appointment after then. Looking forward to our next session. "

No worries, though. To arrange a time that suits you both, you can try booking a different time, or coordinate directly with Dr Jane through your usual communication channel.

Confirmed Appointment Request

If you approve a requested time, the client gets:

  • A confirmation email

  • A calendar invite

Great news, the appointment you requested with Dr Jane at 5th June 2025, 5pm has been confirmed. A Google Calendar email invite has been sent to you.

Need a change? Log in at book.bravely.io to manage your appointments. Please note, Dr Jane may have a cancellation policy.

Appointment Rescheduled

When you reschedule a session, the client is automatically notified of the new time.

Hi Remy,

Just a heads-up: Dr Jane has rescheduled your appointment from 3rd June 2025, 5pm to 3rd June 2025, 6pm. You can find all the new details in your calendar event.

Appointment Cancelled

Clients are notified if you cancel a session.
