Setting up your invoice defaults helps you save time and keep things consistent, especially if you send similar invoices regularly. You can customise everything from payment terms to branding, so each new invoice is ready to go with minimal effort.
To update these settings, go to Payments → Setup → Invoices Configuration
Company Information
These are the details shown at the top of your invoices:

Upload custom
Company Name Display: The name that appears at the top of your invoices (e.g. “The Clinic”). Make sure it’s something your clients will recognise.
Company Address Display: Enter your clinic’s address or contact details.
Invoice Default Values
These fields control the default setup when you create a new invoice:
Default Currency: Choose the currency to be applied by default. (Don't see a currency you want? Let us know)
Autogenerate Invoice ID: Enable automatic invoice numbering. You can set the next number in the sequence and customise the prefix (e.g. INV000213).
Include GST: Toggle on if you need to include GST/VAT on your invoices.
Payments Due: Set how many days after the invoice issue date payment is expected (e.g. 20 days)
Invoice Description: A default summary that appears on each invoice. This is useful if you primarily provide the same service (e.g. “Psychotherapy sessions”). You can change this per invoice later.
Footer: A flexible space at the bottom of your invoices, you can include payment details, bank info, or a friendly message to clients.
💡 Invoice Default Values can be edited individually when creating an invoice, but setting good defaults saves time and ensures consistency across your billing.
