Setting Your Availability (Office Hours)

Manage your office hours so clients can book time with you only when you're available.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Your availability tells Bravely when clients can book with you. Combined with Google Calendar sync, Bravely also checks for conflicts, so clients never book over existing events.

How to Set Availability

Office hours can be set across different locations and telehealth options.

Solo Practitioners

You can set your weekly availability for sessions:

  1. Go to the Appointments page → Setup (top right) → Availability

  2. Toggle on the relevant location or telehealth options

  3. Adjust available times per option

Clinics & Group Practices

Directors and Admins can manage availability for all practitioners:

  1. Go to the Appointments page → Setup (top right) → Availability

  2. Navigate to or search for a practitioner

  3. Toggle on the relevant location or telehealth options

  4. Adjust available times per option

Each practitioner can also adjust their weekly availability:

  1. Go to the Appointments page → Setup (top right) → Availability

  2. Toggle on the relevant location or telehealth options

  3. Adjust available times per option

How Availability & Conflict Checking Work

If you’ve connected your Google Calendar, Bravely will automatically check for any existing events — meetings, personal appointments, or anything else marked as unavailable.

Even if you’ve marked that time as available in Bravely, the system will hide it from clients if a conflict exists in your Google Calendar.

Block Out Time

You can also easily block off time to prevent bookings when you’re away or unavailable.

To block out time (e.g. holidays, personal appointments), simply mark the timeslot as unavailable on your Google Calendar. Clients will no longer see that slot as bookable.
