Creating Backdated Sessions

How to manually add a past session to a client’s record for accurate tracking and documentation.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can manually add a past session to a client’s record if it wasn’t booked through Bravely — for example, if it was scheduled before you joined Bravely or arranged outside the platform.

Adding a Past Session

  1. Go to the Client’s ProfileSessions tab (left sidebar)

  2. Click + New Session → Select Create past session

  3. Fill in Session Details and click Save

  4. Once saved, the session will appear in the client’s session history. You can open it to record notes, create an appointment invoice or update session details at any time.

🧾 Adding a past session creates an Uninvoiced Appointment, so it’s easy to bill later if needed.

⚠️ Session records are linked to their appointment. If you delete the session, the appointment will also be removed from the client’s record.

Adding previous sessions is useful for keeping your records complete and billing accurate, especially if you need to log sessions that took place outside of Bravely.
