Enable Appointment Request Confirmation

Let practitioners review and confirm new bookings before they’re finalised by enabling 'Require Confirmation' in your appointments setup.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Unconfirmed appointments give practitioners more control over their schedule by allowing them to review and confirm appointments booked by clients before they’re finalised.

How to Enable Unconfirmed Appointments

  1. Go to AppointmentsSetupConfigure

  2. Toggle on Require Confirmation

Note: Requiring confirmation is only useful if you’ve enabled self-booking for clients. If you’re manually booking all appointments yourself, there’s no need to use this setting.

How to Confirm Appointment Requests

Once require confirmation is enabled, new bookings will appear as Unconfirmed. You’ll need to manually confirm each appointment before it’s locked into your calendar. You can do so by:

  • On the Apppointments page

  • On each client profile page

Declining appointments will marked it as Rejected.
