Setting up BravelyPay with HitPay

Step-by-step guide to setting up BravelyPay and connecting HitPay and Stripe to start receiving client payments securely.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

BravelyPay makes it simple to invoice clients and receive payments securely. This guide walks you through setting up your BravelyPay account via HitPay (and Stripe), our trusted payments provider is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

HitPay handles fast, secure payouts directly to your bank account — often as soon as the next day.

Quick Tips

  1. This process should be completed by the business owner or clinic director.

  2. It includes identity verification, bank connection, and business checks.

  3. ⚠️ Step 5 is especially important — don’t skip it!

Step 1: Create Your HitPay Account

💡 Using Singpass makes this process much quicker and easier.

  1. Head to the HitPay registration page: Register - HitPay

  2. When signing up:

    1. Use your primary business email (ideally the one linked to Bravely Connect)

    2. Enter your full name and a secure password

    3. Select your country

Step 2: Add Your Business Info and Bank Account

After logging in, you’ll be guided through two key steps:

  1. Business Info: Enter your practice’s details

  2. Connect Your Bank: Link the account where payouts should be sent

⚠️ These details are essential for verification and payout setup — to prevent issues or delays, please ensure these are accurate and up-to-date.

Step 3: Verify Your Identity and Business

👋🏼 Recommendation: Use Singpass to simplify the verification process!

Before you can receive payments, HitPay requires identity and business verification. This step keeps the platform secure and compliant with local regulations.

  1. Owner Verification: This involves a quick selfie and liveliness check for added security.

  2. Business Verification: Submit your verification form — this is required before processing payments.

Step 4: Enable Your Payment Methods

By default, PayNow is enabled for Singapore-based accounts. You’ll also want to enable credit card payments, even if you plan to choose specific methods later in Bravely.

Here’s how:

  1. In the HitPay sidebar, go to Settings → Payment Methods

  2. Ignore other options — only PayNow and Cards work with BravelyPay

  3. Click Connect under Cards: This redirects you to Stripe’s verification page. Your details should auto-fill.

  4. Click Confirm to complete the process.

💳 Important: To accept card payments, you’ll need to complete a quick verification with Stripe — our card processing provider. This step is seamlessly integrated within HitPay and only takes a moment.

Step 5: Connect HitPay to Bravely

You’re almost there! Now, link HitPay to your Bravely Connect account:

  1. In the HitPay dashboard, go to API Keys

  2. Copy the API Key and Salt Key

  3. Open Bravely Connect to this page: connect.bravely.io/settings/payments

  4. Paste the API and Salt keys into the appropriate fields:

  5. Click Save

You’re now ready to start accepting payments! 🎉
