Understanding Payouts

Learn how payouts work in BravelyPay with our provider HitPay, including payout timing, tracking transfers and solving common payout issues.

Updated over a week ago

BravelyPay is powered by HitPay, a secure payments platform that handles collections and transfers for card and non-card payments. When you receive payments through BravelyPay β€” whether by card or PayNow β€” those funds are managed and disbursed by HitPay.

Payouts are processed by HitPay and subject to their Terms of Service. Timing and availability may vary depending on payment method, country, and account verification status.

πŸ“Œ To receive payouts without delay, double-check your bank details during your BravelyPay setup. You can review or update them anytime in the HitPay Dashboard β†’ Settings β†’ Bank Accounts.

Understanding HitPay Payouts

HitPay sends funds to your bank account based on the type of transaction and payout schedule:

  • HitPay Balance: Includes PayNow

  • Card Balance: Covers all card payments, processed via Stripe

Each balance pays out separately and follows its own timing.

Funds Flow and Timing

  • Pending β†’ Available

Funds enter a pending state after collection. For most non-card transactions, this clears in 1 calendar day. Cross-border payments may take up to 5 days.

  • HitPay Balance Payouts

Sent the next business day after becoming available (T+1), or according to your preferred schedule (daily, weekly, monthly).

  • Card Balance Payouts

Managed by Stripe. The first payout may take 7–14 days. Future payouts typically follow a rolling schedule based on your Stripe settings.

Tracking Your Payouts

  • Go to HitPay Dashboard β†’ Bank Payouts

  • View upcoming or completed transfers

  • Download detailed payout reports for reconciliation
